Water Resistant Redmi Note: In 2021, Xiaomi’s Redmi sub-brand introduced a slew of Redmi Note 10 series phones, including the Redmi Note 10, Note 10S, Note 10 5G, Note 10 Pro (Known as Note 10 Pro Max in India), Note 10 Pro for China, and Indian Note 10 Pro.

With the Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition, the firm has added yet another variation to the mix. It’s simply the Redmi Note 10 5G with a few significant changes. Facebook wants to put your eyes on VR headsets, and it’s incredibly terrifying

The first significant difference is the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, which replaces the regular 5G model’s cheap Density 700 5G SoC. The two chipsets have a relatively similar CPU architecture (2x Cortex-A76 and 6x Cortex-A55), however, the Qualcomm chip has an Adreno 619 GPU instead of the Mali-G57 MC2 graphics found in the MediaTek chip.

  • Japan is the first country to receive the Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition from Xiaomi.
  • The phone is essentially a Redmi Note 10 5G, but with a few key modifications to the design and functionality.
  • It is equipped with a Snapdragon 480 SoC and an IP68-rated body.

Another significant distinction is that the Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition is designed with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Splash resistance had already been spotted on cheap Xiaomi phones, but this is the first time we’ve seen a full-fledged IP68 designation here with Water Resistant Redmi Note. Finally, the phone features a 4,800mAh battery, as opposed to the 5,000mAh pack seen in the Redmi Note 10 5G. Why you shouldn’t wait for a Snapdragon 888 Plus smartphone

Otherwise, the two phones appear to be quite similar, with a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD screen (FHD+), 18W wired charging, a 48MP+2MP+2MP back camera system, an 8MP camera in a center-mounted punch-hole cutout, an IR blaster, 3.5mm connector, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

However, Japanese buyers may anticipate a 4GB/64GB variant to emerge. Its debut price was $199, therefore we’d put the Redmi Note 10 Japan Edition in a similar pricing range as its normal counterpart.
